- Mileage
- Rental includes unlimited mileage. This does not override prohibited-use rules or cross-border restrictions.
- Use in Finland
- Normal road use in Finland is included. Travel abroad needs separate written approval.
- Inspections & tyres
- Kaltio Rent arranges statutory inspection and seasonal tyre changes if they become due during your rental.
- Direct local service
- You deal with Kaltio Rent directly. We confirm the available car and rental details with you.
The cars
Used cars. A clear purpose.
A practical car for work, shopping and days off. The fixed rates reflect our used-car fleet, with no promise of a new-car finish.
- Why the price is affordable
- Our cars are older and/or higher-mileage used cars. Their age, mileage and everyday purpose keep the rental affordable. Cosmetic wear is part of that expectation.
- What you can expect at handover
- A roadworthy, legally usable car with a valid roadworthiness inspection, suitable for ordinary road use.
- Which car you will get
- We confirm the actual vehicle with you. No specific make or model is promised before that confirmation.

Daily and weekly rent includes one driver. One additional driver costs EUR 50 for the entire rental period; 2–5 additional drivers cost EUR 100 in total for the entire rental period, not per person. Monthly totals are EUR 300 for one driver, EUR 350 for two drivers and EUR 400 for 3–6 drivers. Monthly totals already include driver fees; do not add the daily/weekly fees again. The EUR 50 and EUR 100 alternatives are mutually exclusive. All drivers must be approved in writing before driving.
An availability inquiry or preliminary request is not binding acceptance. The agreement is formed when you expressly accept Kaltio Rent's individual offer in writing, for example via WhatsApp or email, or, if no binding agreement exists yet, when the individual agreement is signed at handover. Before acceptance, Kaltio provides the individual offer, applicable rental terms and Privacy Notice as PDFs for review and retention. A later handover signature does not change an agreement already formed.

Across the border
Use in Finland is included. Driving in Norway or Sweden requires prior written permission for the specifically agreed countries and named permitted months. The permit costs EUR 50 for each separately agreed permitted month. It may cover all or only part of the rental. Trips within the same permitted month do not change the price: a four-month rental with one permitted month costs EUR 50 for the permit; four permitted months cost EUR 200.
The permit does not expand insurance or roadside-assistance coverage. Kaltio Rent grants permission only after confirming that the vehicle's insurance and roadside assistance are suitable for the agreed countries.

Agree the details
Review the individual offer, vehicle-specific liability, insurance and supplied PDFs before accepting in writing via WhatsApp or email. Sign at handover if no binding agreement exists yet.

Pay the rent
For daily and weekly rentals, the full rental fee is paid in advance before the rental begins. For monthly rentals, rent is paid monthly in advance, with the first month's payment due before vehicle handover.

Collect the car
Pick up the agreed car at the time and place arranged with Kaltio.
